In early November, the Minor Bantam AA Panthers team
travelled to Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana. It was a
tremendous weekend for the boys and their families. They experienced
playing at the Compton Arena, toured the football stadium and the UND
campus, and also watched a College hockey game.
In
game 3, the Panthers played the Plymouth Stingrays and broke a 2-2 tie
with only 4 minutes left to advance to the Final on Sunday.
The team maintained that momentum in the Final game and beat the TNT Tornados by a score of 4-1 to win the Irish South Bend Cup.
