The Peewee AA traveled to Detroit to take part in the Motown Cup on the weekend of Dec 6th. Our first game was played at the Joe Louis Arena and
we beat the Port Huron, Mi team 2-1. Kids will never forget the game at the legendary Joe Louis Arena. Our 2nd
game vs the Windsor Junior Spitfires ended in a 3-3 tie. We then went
to go watch the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night and enjoy
our pizza party. The kids had a blast and woke up flat for our 3rd
and final preliminary game on Sunday morning vs the Ancaster Avalanche
and lost 3-1 but the best was yet to come. We got to play the Ancaster
Avalanche again 5 hours later and
proceeded to dominate them and cap off our championship weekend with a
4-0 victory.
