This past weekend the Vaughan Panthers Minor Bantam AA played with heart
and courage playing with 3 forwards short due to injury in the Vaughan
Rangers Early Bird tournament. They advanced to the semis to play a hard
fought battle against Ted Reeves. The
Panthers were victorious in a double overtime, shoot out game. Next
up...the finals against the Mississauga Terriers...end to end hockey,
ended in a 3-3 tie at the end of regular time. It remained the same
after a 1st overtime. The Panthers were going into
double overtime for the second time in the same day, and then into
their second shootout in the same day. The boys were once again
victorious and crowned the Vaughan Ranger Early bird Champions! Well
down boys, and what a great way to enter the upcoming 2016-17
season!!!
